Video Journalism
UGA Women's Rugby
I produced a video package featuring the UGA Women’s Club Rugby team. Using Premiere, I edited together diverse shots I captured during one of their practices, accompanied by a voiceover that enhances the natural audio.
Athens Beer Trail
To highlight the Athens Beer Trail, I crafted a voiceover-free video package. I incorporated interviews conducted at different spots along the trail, along with footage I captured at the seven local breweries, all edited seamlessly in Premiere Pro.
K.A. Artist Shop
I collected interview and class footage at the KA Artist Studio in Athens, Georgia, to showcase the shop. In crafting this piece, I employed a range of shots and integrated interview responses to narrate a cohesive story seamlessly.
Debbie Winsett's Line Dancing
During my tenure at the Oglethorpe Echo, my colleague Olivia Shapiro and I collaborated on highlighting the weekly line dance classes in the county. Instead of opting for a conventional video package, we chose to illustrate my experience learning to line dance, emphasizing its beginner-friendly nature.
Oglethorpe Co. Pickleball
Just like with line dancing, I used a similar method for making the Pickleball video. The idea was to show off this new sport in the small town and to let everyone know that it's open to people of all skill levels, even beginners like me.
